Safety & Professionalism
Hawke’s Bay Santa understands the importance of trust when working with families, children, schools, businesses, and community groups. A current criminal record check can be made available to genuine clients or organisations on request.

For schools, childcare centres, charities, or organisations that require formal Police vetting, I’m happy to complete the required consent process through your approved organisation.

T&C's

The main points

  • I work full time so I will do absolutely everything in my power to make sure your booking can be scheduled. 
  • Please also be aware I'm a solo boutique business so if the situation arises where I fall ill, I don't have anyone to replace me. Again, a full refund will be given if monies have been paid prior, or we can re-schedule if that suits you.
  • This suit is very warm. I wear an ice vest, but if the visit is inside, please make sure there is air conditioning or a fan PLEASE.
  • Please ensure dogs are not in the room as my large stature, ringing bells and excitement can upset some dogs at first.
  • Santa will take all reasonable care during the visit but is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or property damage.

 

The Detailed Terms and Conditions

  • If Santa is going to be late or needs to cancel
    • I promise to contact you in the event of an emergency which prevents me from attending or turning up on time. If for some reason I need to cancel, and monies have been paid prior, a full refund will be provided.
    • Please also be aware I'm a solo boutique business so if the situation arises where I fall ill, I don't have anyone to replace me. Again, a full refund will be given if monies have been paid prior.

  • Booking & Payment

    • I work full time so I will do absolutely everything in my power to make sure your booking can be scheduled. 
    • All bookings must be confirmed in advance.
    • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your date and time.
    • Full payment is due prior to the visit unless otherwise agreed.

  • Location & Travel

    • Santa visits are available within the Napier/Hastings area unless prior arrangements are made.
    • Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside the standard service area.

  • Duration

    • Standard visits last approximately 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
    • Extended time may be arranged for an additional fee.

  • Gifts & Props

    • Any gifts to be distributed by Santa must be provided by the client and clearly labeled for each child.
    • Santa will not supply gifts unless agreed upon in advance. (Home visits include a stuffed toy based on the child's favorite animal).

  • Behavior & Safety

    • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times during the visit.
    • Please ensure dogs are not in the room as my large stature, and ringing bells can upset some dogs at first.
    • Santa reserves the right to end the visit early if behavior becomes unsafe or inappropriate.

  • Photography & Media

    • Clients are welcome to take photos and videos during the visit.
    • Santa may request consent for promotional photos if applicable.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling

    • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled visit may incur a fee.
    • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

  • Liability

    • Santa will take all reasonable care during the visit but is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or property damage.

  • Special Requests

    • Any special activities (e.g., reading stories, jokes) should be discussed at the time of booking.
